IMAP and Sent Items

I am using Courier IMAP.
The system apparently does not have the ability to automatically put a copy
of any emails which are sent into a Sent folder.
I have seen a few hacks on how to make Outlook do this, but think that this
should be done on the email server and not using some silly rule that can
easily be changed by the end users whom are normally not to bright.
So since Courier IMAP does not apparently put sent items into a Sent Items
folder on the server, is it possible to have Postfix automagically copy
anything sent from a user copy that message to the persons mail folder into
the Sent Items folder.
Right now there directories are also there email addresses, so I would think
it would not be to difficult to fix this using Postfix commands since
Courier apparently does not have this ability.
Thanks,
Tom W.
