Virtual hosting with cyrus (mailboxes called userfoo.domain)

Can someone point me in the right direction to get cyrus to use the
transport "cyrus" to deliver to mailboxes with 's in the name.

The new cyrus (2.2.x) supports mailboxes of the form userdomain.
I've currently got postfix setup with a virtual table of the form:

    josef-k.net *
    joejosef-k.net joe

where joe is a local mailbox.

I've now want to use a mailbox called joejosef-k.net, and
the analog of above is to do:

    josef-k.net *
    joejosef-k.net joejosef-k.net

which of course won't work.

I found a web page that suggested that

    josef-k.net *
    joejosef-k.net joe\\\josef-k.net

was the way to make it work, but I get the following error message:

    Jun 1 21:23:49 transwarp postfix/error[58842]: A1C5FEA58:
    to=<test\josef-k.net>, orig_to=<testjosef-k.net>, relay=none,
delay=0, status=bounced (User unknown in virtual alias table)

How do I get postfix to use the 'cyrus' transport for mailboxes named in
this way?

Can anyone help me?

Many thanks,
Joe
