I think you meant Dovecot (http://www.dovecot.org) which does do both
POP3 and IMAP. It's insanely easy to set up, and well supported by its
author. It's currently working its way towards a 1.0 release, and it may
be a little early to rely on it in a mission-critical situation.

I use a .99 release on my own 800 mail/day environment however, with
zero problems.

Also, I believe that Fedora just moved to dovecot as its default
IMAP/POP3 server.
