It is definately true.
Also, ebay's retry times seem to be about *4h*.
I have also noticed that the SMS gateways for various cell providers don't
bother retrying, either.
Greylisting is powerful, but I suggest setting it up initially in such a
way as to not reject anything at first - see postfix's "warn_if_reject"
command.
