Yes, I know. Let me explain my situation: I have a mail server for an
environment where messages shouldn't be dropped at all cost. That means,
sending no non-delivery notifications is BAD for me. Sending
non-delivery notifications is bad as well, as everyone here knows the
forged sender problem.
So I wanted something that already blocks in the SMTP session, so the
remote SMTP server is responsible for the delivery notification and I
don't send out to forged addresses.
Is there anything else you can suggest than amavisd-new?
