Yes I have reloaded postfix. I have done a stop, start.
At first I could not ping anything even in shell so I updated resolv.conf
(Corrected the nameserver line to use a new dns server). I did a reboot
and after that I could ping everything again.
I have copied the /etc/resolv.conf file to the /var/spool/postfix/etc
directory. I read that somewhere but that didnt work either.
Postfix check doesnt return anything indicating that everything should work.
In theorie everything should work and receiving mail does work but when
sending mail postfix cant resolv names. It seems if postfix cant read the
nameserver. I checked the permissions on /etc/resolv.conf and
/var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf and both have permissions 744. This
means the file can be read by all so that shouldnt be a problem.
