Hello,

I have problems with postfix, if ip addressec
are configured using ip addr commands. I read
the heated discussion a few years ago, but have
no intention to start one like that.

Attached is a patch implementing linux 2.* gathering
of the data using netlink. The patch replaces the
old code and thus is not usable for anyone else.

Please let me know how to best implement this functionality,
so linux can use the netlink code to gather the information,
while everyone else can use the current way to get it.
