Yes. You snipped out the next part of the original message that described how I created a duplicate queue directory. Perhaps the problem is a semantic one; I called it a spool directory.

I am reasonably certain it is not a configuration issue. I described in detail how I duplicated the instance from a working instance, a process that I have done before successfully. A thorough examnination of both instances proves they are identical in every way.

Perhaps I should have put the question as the 1st paragraph. Is it possible that Postfix is refusing to run or failing becasue the mail host in question is not in the MX for the domain?
