Try:
dig +short mx vdomain.com
If that fails to return anything:
dig +short a vdomain.com
If that fails too, your DNS entries are incorrect. If you have no idea
what I'm talking about, you have some reading to do.
You'd save yourself and us a lot of pain if you could divulge the actual
name of the domain.
