Panix has shell access, right? It's a bit ugly, but you could tunnel
through ssh to their port 25.

I use a virtual server. There are getting to be more providers of these
(user-mode Linux and *BSD jails) and they are far cheaper than co-lo.
Everything goes through an openvpn tunnel to my remote server.
