Hello all,
I made "postsuper -h ALL" and I put on hold a message in active queue. I
noticed then that:
- when qmgr wanted to remove the message after smtp has received the
"250 Ok queued as ...", he didn't find the message (normal : it has been
moved).
- The message is still in hold queue "postqueue -p" while it has been
effectively sent to the recipient
When I un-held, the message was removed right away.
My questions:
Why doesn't Postfix wait until the message is no more active and then
put it on hold ?
Can putting messages on hold take too long ? I tried whith 20 message or
so and it took about one second ... a bit slow ... Isn't it just a file
move ?
Thanks a lot and have a nice day
Ali
