I am intrested in antispam services.
Specifally, throwaway accounts.
existing instances:
http://spambob.com/
http://www.dodgeit.com/ (favorite, will referr to it later)
http://www.spamgourmet.com/
Feel free to examine them to see what they are doing.
The idea is you give out an address, ANY address, at a domain.
example: Mikey3000
dogit.com
When email comes in to the domain, IT CREATES AN EMAIL BOX FOR IT if
there is none yet existing, then drops the mail into the mailbox
normally. NO outgoing smtp service is offered.
As is, sendmail will not do this, but postfix is SO flexible it's
unreal, so I suspect it can handle it nicely.
The user can access the account using a web portal, but there are
several on the web for the task, such as webmail or squirrelmail.
Now I am moderately experienced with sendmail, FreeBSD, python, and
HTML. Postfix I am green as grass. This is doable, and should not be a
gargantuan task. All it has to do special is- create a mailbox for a
identity that is not yet represented, and still interface with existing
ones normally.
Now how would I do that?
