Domain does not resolve

Hi.

Im pretty new to Postfix. I have an Apple Xserve with MacOSX 10.3.5 and using postfix as smtp and cyrus as pop/imap. I have one domain where I could not send mail to. Their server (Sendmail) responds with "Domain does not resolve" when sending mail to them. They can send mail to us without problems, but we cant reply. The hostname on our mailserver is set to mail.xxx.xxx in the main.cf. The IP adress has an reverse entry, A record (mail.xxx.xxx) and a MX pointer pointing to mail.xxx.xxx. I just tried sending to an externam adress and the header looks OK. It says received from: mail.xxx.xxx

I believe the problem is on the Sendmail and not on our Postfix. Is there anything I could have missed on our side or anything more I could test to prove that the fault is not on our side?

Best regards,
