Hello,
I have been working on this problem for a little while, and trawling this
list shows that others have had similar issue, yet none appears to be
exactly the same as this.
Like many others, I have a virtual domain "virtualdomain.com" and I want to
let "user
virtualdomain.com" forward mail to "person
remotedomain.com" which
lives on some other MTA out there in the world.
I use virtual_alias_maps to rewrite the address, yet according to the
verbose logging, the message is still handed to virtual, and virtual tries
to find the mailbox path for "person
remotedomain.com" and (expectedly)
bounces the mail with "unknown user"
I can't figure out how to stop the message from going to virtual agent -
even what agent *should* I send to - relay? Smtp?
Thanks and regards, Mike.
