I tried chrooted and not. NO DIFFERENCE. :-(

/etc/sasldb2 is mode 640 and postfix:postfix.
I dont need to 'share' this file with anything else at least.

I have noted in another email, that when sasldb2 is created with BDB,
postfix has no complaints.

but if I use NDBM to create sasldb2 file(s) - then it complains, but still
authenticates.

thanks for your efforts so far. This seems weird. I am not the only one who
has seen this though, yet google does not report any answers either....
