I've created a file /etc/postfix/relay_recipients with a line for each
user/alias address<whitespace>OK and postmapped it.

in [main.cf] I have the following:
relay_domains = pricetrak.com, pricetrak.co.uk, energytrak.co.uk
relay_recipient_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/relay_recipients
relayhost = [**my firewall ip**]

Yet my relay server is still relaying mail for nonexistent users:

Is this a recent addition to postfix? The version installed is 1.1. If
not then can anyone suggest why this is not working?
