holy crap! somehow my vmail maildir got changed to
/home/vmail/home/vmail/nyc0nshack.com/nick/.maildir, this has
been set up for so long i dont recall where i set those settings
at. and i have no clue how they would get changed unless my
last emerge changed some files on me. but my server has an
mysql backend, and there is no way that could have gotten
changed, since im the only one that can access it. is there
anywhere else that this could be at for my mail to go here
instead of its intended place, /home/vmail/domain/user/.mailbox?

thanks for getting me this far
