it doesnt matter in the slightest. the kind of user you are concerned
about will not read the bounce message anyway - and no matter how
"user-friendly" (i.e. dumbed-down) you make it, they will not understand
it.
one of the reasons they wont understand it is because they wont make any
attempt to do so.
so, all you will achieve is to dumb-down bounce notifications and make
them useless for the people who do actually bother to read them.

they wont notice it or understand it no matter what you do.
anyway, half the time they'll be behind something brain-damaged like
Exchange which will discard any informative error message and replace
it with hard-coded rubbish (e.g. "550" is *always* "User unknown"
regardless of what the remote system said).
