You should review what Postfix is: it's an MTA (mail transfer agent.)
procmail OTOH is a MDA (mail delivery agent.) Perhaps you don't even
need a MTA; most home users don't.

The several man pages are good too: procmail(1), procmailrc(5),
procmailex(5), and procmailsc(5).

You should take any questions about procmail (unless specific to
Postfix, which is unlikely) to a different list or newsgroup. I think
news://comp.mail.misc is a Usenet newsgroup, although there might be a
more specific forum available.
