Wrong. I point new, inexperienced users at it all the time, and they have no
trouble figuring it out.

Perhaps; it's also much biger, much less efficient, and includes a truly
lousy Usenet reader that should be stamped out.

elm hasn't been in active development for years; its author recommends mutt.
