When you did 'postcat -q' it showed that this is a delayed delivery message from your server. Yesterday, when mail was stuck in your queue, this message was generated. It sound like the original email was delivered to your user.

No. Instead of the above, do another postcat and read the message. Yesterday, you had problems and this (and maybe more) message was generated. The MTA that sent the original message does not accept incomming mail, hence your question this morning. Since a) the original message has since been delivered and b) the other server doesn't care to receive this now obsolete message - delete it from your queue.
