postfix/smtp[25876]: fatal: unknown service: smtp/tcp
So the smtp daemon starts, but fails to initialize. Could it be some
OpenBSD specific bug that leads to smtp trying to chroot itself when it
shouldn't?
master.cf:
smtp unix - - n - - smtp
(btw, I just tried 2.1.6 on this system, has the same problem, but I'm
really trying to get 2.2.3)
Geoff:
smtpd is disabled in my configuration, as another program listens to port 25
in our set up and passes the message to postfix locally.
cheers
