When I type mail from my tcsh prompt I get nothing. Not even an error.
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(56): mail
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(57): mail -vv
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(58): mailq
Mail queue is empty
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(59): mailx
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(60): which mail
/usr/bin/mail
[eric
rodan]/home/eric(61):
I do not understand what is wrong. This system is running FreeBSD 5.4
AMD64 Hammer. Postfix works better and faster than it ever has.
"Sendmail" also works fine.
Pointers etcetera would be most appreciated.
TIA
Eric
