Pretty much an irrelevant point, however. When someone mentions an
aliases map, the convention is to refer to the standard format, i.e:
user: alias
No one said an alias type map *has* to be in that style. But neither is
giving an OP a contrary example regarding a default and widely understood
format much use, when specific mention is made regarding a system alias
file. An alias file can mean many things. A standard system alias file
will always be referred to using the above format, however.
