These could have been bounces. Have you checked your log to see what
they were?

Of course, but you spoke about relaying, for which there is so far no
proof.

The folks from Sendmail gave me a pocket knife. It has dozens of blades
with a seemingly infinite number of functions, just like Sendmail. The first
