postfix delay ... slow SMTPD!

hello,

i recently installed postfix 2.2.5 on a SuSE Linux 9.3
everything works fine but the SMTPD daemon is sort of slow ...
so i have enabled the postfix/smtpd to verbose mode in master.cf to get
more info!

if i make a connect to the postfix/smtpd i get a response within a
millisecond ...
also if i do a connect via telnet localhost 25 i do get a response
immediately!

Oct 17 06:03:04 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: dict_eval: const mail

then it reads in some config data .... until it comes to ...

Oct 17 06:03:04 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: connection established
Oct 17 06:03:04 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: name_mask: resource
Oct 17 06:03:04 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: name_mask: software

all this stuff in about 1 single second!
but then it takes in average about 20-30 seconds to get to the next output ....

Oct 17 06:03:29 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: match_list_match: p135-rassnilf2.S.csloxinfo.net: no match
Oct 17 06:03:29 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: match_list_match: 203.172.86.135: no match
Oct 17 06:03:29 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: match_list_match: p135-rassnilf2.S.csloxinfo.net: no match
Oct 17 06:03:29 gehirn postfix/smtpd[32388]: match_list_match: 203.172.86.135: no match

so ... in this case it took about 25 seconds!! after this is done postfix delivers the emails very quick ...

well .. i thought the delay has to do something with my DNS as i read quite a few times on different places on the internet.
but if i do a DNS query on my machine ...

DIG p135-rassnilf2.S.csloxinfo.net
DIG 135.86.172.203.in-addr.arpa PTR

i always get a response in about 1 millisec from the DNS! so the DNS seems to work ...

but at the moment i don't know where else to look ;-(
postfix delivers & sends email but on a connect to the postfix/smtpd it always delays for about 20-30 sec at the point described above!
what does this match_list_match mean? what is he postfix/smtpd doing?

probably anybody here can give me a hint where to look next ;-)

thanks a lot for your help & time
best regards
