Greetings, O Experts!
Our new postfix server bounces mail for users with mail directories
that are temporarily unavailable--in this case a machine was
accidentally turned off. How can I configure postfix to defer mail
delivery in the case where a mailbox is temporarily inaccessible?
The error is below:
Mar 27 19:07:15 chandra postfix/local[30949]: 0B1E57832C:
to=<gbower
chandra.Ber
keley.EDU>, relay=local, delay=0, status=bounced (cannot access
mailbox /homev/g
bower/Mailbox for user gbower. cannot create file exclusively: No
such file or d
irectory)
Many Thanks,
Bill Boyd
