Problem with Postfix/SSL

From: Alex Laughlin (alexlaughlinoptyweb.com)

I'm trying to setup postfix with tls authentication on a gentoo box.
IMAP works just fine with SSL, but when I try to send something with the
server I get this:

***********
Apr 4 02:48:28 moon postfix/smtpd[29929]: Could not allocate
'TLScontext->con' with SSL_new()
Apr 4 02:48:28 moon postfix/smtpd[29929]: warning: TLS library problem:
29929:error:140BA0C3:SSL routines:SSL_new:null ssl ctx:ssl_lib.c:231:
***********

Also, my mail client (evolution) says:

"Welcome response error: Unknown"

I'm pretty new to configuring mail servers, so any help is greatly
appreciated. Thanks. :-)
