MX mail cluster problem

From: Arya, Manish Kumar (m.aryayahoo.com)

Hi,

   I have a cluster mail.domain.com, here i have 3
mail boxes

box1.domain.com,box2.domain.com,box3.domain.com

in MX records of domain say manish.com I have
mail.domain.com as backup domain.

if in case when primary mail server is down mails for
manish.com come to mail.domain.com, which basically
goes to anyone of the mail boxes in cluster, say it
goes on box2.domain.com, now many times i see in logs
that box2 tries to put it again on mail.domain.com
(thats because of MX record for manish.com)

so is there someway in postfix config where i can tell
postfix not to put mail again on mail.domain.com,
basically create a kind of host alias.

i found one way of doing this, i added mail.domain.com
in /etc/hosts file on box2, but can we do this thru
postfix config ?

Regards,
-Manish
