Table lookup order

I have a postfix server that is the final destination for all the email of
my domain.
Here we have all our users in an LDAP table. And we have the systems
accounts (root, postmaster, ftp ...) in the /etc/aliases table.
Since we added the virtual users the /etc/aliases is ignored. How can we
solve this?
Any help or tips will be appreciated.
