"message cannot be represented in 7-bit ASCII"

Quick question: I get messages which I presume are spam/virus with this:
The message cannot be represented in 7-bit ASCII encoding
and has been sent as a binary attachment
... with a .zip file attached. Now I know I can't check for these lines
AND the zip file, which to me is a dead giveaway, but what about the
text on its own? Could I safely body_check the first line? Or does anyone
know of legit circumstances for a message like this being produced?
