While I agree to your assessment of "reject_unknown_sender_domain" I
disagree with your statement about hosts with no reverse_dns. Sometimes
you don't have a choice which isp you have to use and sometimes they don't
heed to your requests. I have that trouble with a lot of chinese servers,
and the complaints of the british BT customers are also well-known.
I guess it would be nice if every mailserver would implement the basic
requirements, but unfortunately we do not live in such an ideal world, so
it often takes less effort and time to simply whitelist a server or even
not use such a check.
