address verification for relayhost dependent host

Hi,
I have a postfix install on a server at my house, I run a few older
spam-infested addresses here that mostly I have had to abandon (too
much spam -- using a nice system with tagged addresses now on a
different server). Because this particular server is in my house, on
my cable modem connection, i use a relayhost to relay all mail
through since much of comcast's IP space is (rightfully so) blocked
on many abuse lists (i block it on my own mail server too!).
Now, I have been experimenting with using address verification, it is
a very nice feature, i quite like it, however this configuration
prevents a unique challenge to using address verification.
the default setting of:
address_verify_relayhost = $relayhost
means that all mail goes to the relayhost first, which is perfectly
willing to accept all my mail and thus the address verification is
useless.
a setting of
address_verify_relayhost =
means that postfix will attempt to connect directly, this works for
anyone not using an RBL that blocks my cable connection IP space
(which is a lot).
So, is there some way to tunnel or proxy address verification?
perhaps using a simple TCP proxy, or perhaps a way to have the local
postfix ask a remote postfix to preform the address verification for it?
