That about dropping packets based on sender-address was just a theory.

Since they are not dropping all my packets, just those from a specific
mailinglist, and not all the time either, only when (I *guess*) some
threshold has been reached in number of connections/second...
And there is not just one server that does this, so it seems to be a
common practice...
But maybe there is a whole other explanation for it.
