problem with postfix and dns updates

Hello,

        I have a debian server (etch 4.0) running postfix 2.3.8-2 and I have a
strange problem with it and DNS updates. The problem is:

I have created a new host in my network and configure it. I have
configure it to deliver mail through my postfix servers (I have a
cluster with various servers running the same configuration). I have
also create DNS A and PTR records for this host's IP address.

The problem is that this host can't deliver locally generated mails
(such as the mails from cron jobs). All the mails are rejected with a
Sender address rejected: Domain not found message.

If I stop and run again my postfix server the mails are then accepted
and distributed. It seems like postfix cached the DNS error before I
updated my DNS server and then it doesn't reload that cache until I have
restarted it.

Could it be this? Is there any way to accelerate this process without
needing to restart postfix?
