Hi,
I have a customer who, for one reason or another, is using non-compliant
RFC addresses. To be more specific, they have valid addresses wrapped in
single quote characters e.g. ('joe.bloggs
example.com') - which are not
RFC compliant.
I've tried using canonical maps to rewrite these addresses, but the
addresses are rejected prior to the address rewriting.
Is it possible to rewrite these addresses to remove the single quotes?
I appreciate that it is not the problem with postfix, but rather with
the customers internal infrastructure, so if the only feasible solution
is for the customer to fix their addresses, then so be it.
Regards,
- Sean
