        Hi All

        New to the list here.

I have a specific question. My server bombed out a couple of weeks ago completely so a power cycle and it came back up, everything working fine except postfix..

        Logs show the following:

Jun 26 14:17:22 localhost postfix/local[16051]: fatal: shared-lock database /etc/aliases.db for open: Permission denied

So I'm not getting any mail inbound, I have googled around and found almost nothing that shows how to recover from this... anyone have any ideas?

        thanks
        Edd

Hello

Did you try a postalias /etc/aliases ?
