amavisd will check all mail reaching it, regardless of domain.
Nevertheless, the list of local domains should be known to amavisd
for several reasons, most obvious of these is that X-Spam* header
fields are only inserted for recipients of local domains.
If you only have a few local domains, list them directly, e.g.:
('.example.com', '.x.example.org', 'host.example.net');
Lengthier lists may be read from a file, one domain per line,
a dot before a domain name indicate subdomains are implied
(and the domain itself too (which differs from Postfix)) :
local_domains_maps = ( read_hash("/etc/local_domains") );
A note from amavisd.conf-sample:
a quick hint on what local domains normally are:
a union of domains specified in: mydestination, virtual_alias_domains,
virtual_mailbox_domains, and relay_domains.
