I've been seeing this for over a year. It's obnoxious, but doesn't seem
to do much harm. If the spammers started using it a lot it would be a
source of backscatter.
I suspect some failing spam-ware does this, because the message that goes
back to the "sender" isn't very conducive to advertising.
