Hi Gustavo,
  Have you had any luck on this? I have been having what looks like the
same problem for about 3 months (with exactly the same setup - Deb 4.0,
Postfix 2.3.8) - for no reason I can tell, suddenly local mail delivery
fails with log message 'warning: premature end-of-input on private/local
socket while reading input attribute name'. I wonder if its a kernel
problem, as I too need to reboot to fix the problem
