Certainly not in the cleanup server. I am planning to sign after messages
go through various content filters (which can modify the content,
so no use signing before), so the existing downgrade code in smtp(8)
is sufficient.
On my TODO list is also an add-on for my SMTP proxy that will do DKIM
signing, and thus do away with the need for a milter, but that is for
late this year early 2008...
So anyway, no 8bit =really= 7bit detection. No problem...
