These are not random selections, they address the issue of how a delivery
mechanism (transport) and destination (nexthop) are selected to deliver a
particular message. You should by now have the impression that the key is
configuring transport selection correctly, but you can also apply other
"rewriting" strategies, to re-classify domains, customize delivery for
local mailboxes after aliasing, ...
