This is ~32MByte for the e-mail ....
Maybe related to this one from the changelog :

Bugfix (introduced Postfix 2.3): the sendmail/postdrop
commands would hang when trying to submit a message larger
than the per-message size limit. File: postdrop/postdrop.c.
The default size limit is 10MB as far as i know.
