Debugging .forward-* files

Hi all,

I have a trouble ticket system (RT) that I am trying to get Postfix to
work with. Currently I have a user www whose home directory is filled
with lots of .forward files in the format .forward-queue where queue is
the name of th RT queue, however I can't get Postfix to utilise these
files.

My main.cf file has the following in it:

recipient_delimiter = -
forward_path =
   $home/.forward${recipient_delimiter}${extension}
   ${extension?$home/.forward-default}
   ${extension:$home/.forward}

As far as I understand it this means that when an email is sent to
www-mailtt0 Postfix should look in the home directory of the www user
for the .forward-mail file and act on its contents.

What is happening is all emails are being forwarded to roottt0 instead.

If I run "sendmail -bv www-mailtt0" I get:
Mail Delivery Status Report will be mailed to <root>.

How else can I debug this or get it sorted?
