RE: Debugging .forward-* files - Fixed

My apologies for wasting your time. It turns out www is aliased to root,
so emails were going straight to root rather than to the www user.

Removing the alias resolved most of my issues and I can figure out the
rest!

        Subject: Debugging .forward-* files

        Hi all,

        I have a trouble ticket system (RT) that I am trying to get
Postfix to work with. Currently I have a user www whose home directory
is filled with lots of .forward files in the format .forward-queue where
queue is the name of th RT queue, however I can't get Postfix to utilise
these files.

        My main.cf file has the following in it:

        recipient_delimiter = -
        forward_path =
           $home/.forward${recipient_delimiter}${extension}
           ${extension?$home/.forward-default}
           ${extension:$home/.forward}

        As far as I understand it this means that when an email is sent
to www-mailtt0 Postfix should look in the home directory of the www
user for the .forward-mail file and act on its contents.

        What is happening is all emails are being forwarded to roottt0
instead.

        If I run "sendmail -bv www-mailtt0" I get:
        Mail Delivery Status Report will be mailed to <root>.

        How else can I debug this or get it sorted?
