IMHO, it makes life easier for the original sender if they can
determine that they got the email address correct, it's just that
their intended recipient is not using that email anymore. As opposed
to telling them, "this address doesn't exist", so they double-check
the address and send the mail again (to get told, again, "this
address doesn't exist").
