The proxymap service with update support, is sufficient.
For SASL password failure detection, the SMTP client needs to
contact the proxymap server with update support, with a dedicated
master.cf entry that has a process limit of 1.
This provides the single-writer functionality.
No-one wants SASL password failures to be lost when Postfix
is restarted.
