Sorry, but I didn't get what ' On FreeBSD "use the ports".' means. Can you
please explain in brief.
Or can u tell me the exact steps I should perform to setup and test that the
Postfix server is up and running? Its ok if you even provide me with
examples of domain name, mail to etc

On FreeBSD "use the ports".
