Do you recognize that there are inherent incompatibilities between
your decision to use an ancient host and OS, a need for reasonably
secure (and therefore more modern) software, and your resistance to
building your own binaries from source?

Keep in mind that people used systems like yours to build their own
binaries all the time back when they were closer to current. The
build demands for the latest versions of BIND and Postfix are not
overwhelming and while it might be very slow on a 486, it should not
be really hard to make the system capable of building what you need.
