Apologies - you are right.

Now the good news: I was reviewing very closely my logs to add them to the
message (together with postconf -n) and I found where the issue was. It is
not related to postfix at all.

I have a graytlisting buffer before postfix (very good - spey) where I
allowed only some email addresses to go though. And, as you have guessed
now, I forgot to update that list when adding my alias.

Sorry for the false alarm - everything is working as it should (postifx
and spey).
